The Shield: The Game is a 3rd-person action game developed by Sammy Studios and Point of View that captures the look, feel, and authenticity of the popular television series. Players take on the role of Vic Mackey as he navigates his way through Farmington's underworld in search of justice. Missions range from busting crack dens to thwarting bank robberies while players employ tactics used by Vic in the show such as intimidating suspects, employing brute force, accepting/offering bribes and planting incriminating evidence. Additionally, players can choose between following or breaking the law with Vic walking a thin line to accomplish missions while trying to maintain respect for both his men and police captain alike.

Based on the popular television series of the same name, The Shield: The Game is a third-person shooter that immerses players into the gritty world of dirty cop Vic Mackey. Developed by Point of View Games and published by THQ, this game ties together both seasons three and four from the show.
The story follows Vic Mackey as he attempts to take down drug lord Armadillo Quintero while dealing with his own internal issues such as corruption in his precinct and other criminal organizations. Players can expect a thrilling ride through Los Angeles’ seedy underbelly filled with intense shootouts, car chases, interrogations and more.
Gameplay has you taking control of Mackey as he fights his way through various missions to get closer to Quintero while also dealing with personal conflicts within his precinct known as “the strike team” which consists of fellow officers Shane Vendrell, Curtis Lemansky and Ronnie Gardocki. Each mission requires different tactics ranging from stealthy infiltration to all out gunfights using an arsenal of weapons at your disposal including handguns, shotguns, submachine guns and assault rifles amongst others. There are also some unique gameplay mechanics such as being able to bribe people or doing favors for them in order to gain access or information that would otherwise be inaccessible without payment or friendly persuasion
Overall The Shield: The Game provides an engaging experience for fans who want a deeper look into their favorite characters from the show while also providing enough action packed sequences for those not familiar with it but still enjoy third person shooters set in modern day crime scenarios..
