The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return is a compilation bundle for Dreamcast, Xbox and Wii that includes two classic horror-shooter games. The first game in this bundle is The House of the Dead 2 which was originally released for the Dreamcast console. It features zombie shooting action with branching paths and secrets to unlock as you progress. Players use light guns or other compatible controllers to shoot their way through waves of zombies while trying to survive until the end.

The second installment in this collection is The House of the Dead III which was initially released on Xbox but has also been ported over to Wii consoles with support for the unique Wii Zapper peripheral. This version adds an Extreme mode, where enemies attack faster and bullets from player’s weapons have smaller blast radii (similarly to those found in The House of the Dead 2).
