All about game The Curse of Monkey Island
The Curse of Monkey Island is the beloved third installment in LucasArts' classic point-and-click adventure series, and it still stands as one of the greatest games ever made. The game follows the adventures of pirate Guybrush Threepwood as he attempts to free himself from a cursed island after being framed for piracy by his nemesis LeChuck.
The unique combination of puzzle-solving and comedy makes this game an absolute joy to play. Players will find themselves selecting from a variety of buccaneer hairstyles at The Barbery Coast, enjoying a warm reunion with an old flame, learning valuable trades in lighthouse and VCR repair, looting, sacking and pillaging this quaint Caribbean hamlet... all while trying to outwit their undead villain!
The Curse of Monkey Island features film quality animation that brings its cast of characters to life before your very eyes. From Guybrush's goofy expressions when presented with yet another impossible task (for example: retrieving a ship captain's missing toupee), to the manic laughter emanating from LeChuck's skeletal body - every moment is rendered beautifully in high resolution graphics (640 x 480).
For those seeking more than just puzzles, there are two difficulty settings available: regular and Mega-Monkey mode for extra puzzley goodness! Plus new improved insults suitable for swordfights or other fun occasions. With over 30 hours worth of gameplay included, you'll be playing until your fingers ache - but trust us when we say it'll be worth it!
