In Tachyon Project, players take control of Ada, a software program that has achieved consciousness and was designed to hack into the most secure servers on Earth. After being mysteriously thrown out of the test server she was living in and out into the Internet, Ada embarks on a journey to uncover the truth behind what happened to her creators. The game is a dual stick shooter where classic shoot'em up concepts have been adapted for this genre. Players are able to customize their ship with various weapons, secondary weapons and perks which allow for hundreds of combinations. As they progress through levels they will face challenging enemies and be rewarded with power-ups along the way, ultimately trying to discover what really happened to Ada's parents.
