Steel Assault is a retro-style action platformer game set in a post-apocalyptic America. Players take the role of Taro Takahashi, a resistance soldier out for revenge against the oppressive dictator who holds power over this world. Throughout their journey, players must punch, whip and zipline their way through various levels filled with enemies and obstacles.

The main objective of Steel Assault is to make it to the end of each level while defeating as many enemies as possible using Taro’s well-honed martial arts skills. Players can use punches or kicks to fight off opponents while also taking advantage of environmental features such as zip lines, ladders and platforms that help them reach new areas more quickly or evade dangerous situations. As they progress through each level, players will come across multiple weapons which they can pick up in order to aid them on their mission—from swords and guns to grenades and rockets launchers which deal extra damage when used correctly!
