All about game War World: Tactical Combat
If you're a fan of tactical combat games, then War World: Tactical Combat is one game you should definitely check out. Developed and published by Australian company Third Wave Games - which was made up of former Rare alumni who have been involved in the development of such games as Banjo Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64, and others - War World was released on Microsoft Windows in 2005 and 2008 for the Xbox Live Arcade service.
War World: Tactical Combat puts players into intense 3D mech battles with realistic physics-based gameplay where they can take control of their own unique robot to fight against other players or computer-controlled opponents. The goal is simple: annihilate your opponent's robots while trying to protect your own.
Players can choose from a variety of weapons including machine guns, flamethrowers, mortars, rocket launchers and more to destroy their enemies. You also have access to special abilities like deploying mines or setting off EMP blasts that will disable all nearby robots for a limited time period. To make things even more interesting there are also various powerups scattered around each map that will give your robots an extra edge in battle when collected.
The game features both singleplayer missions as well as online multiplayer modes where up to 16 human players go head-to-head against each other over LAN or Internet connections – making it perfect if you've got some friends over looking for some chaotic fun! On top of this there are also tournaments held regularly so competitive gamers can test their skills against one another on a global scale.
All in all War World: Tactical Combat provides an incredibly engaging experience that veterans and newcomers alike should enjoy playing together (or alone!). So if giant robot warfare sounds like something you'd be interested in giving a try – what are you waiting for?
