Space Pirates and Zombies, or SPAZ for short, is an action-based, skill-oriented top down space combat game. It’s a modernized version of the classic games we all know and love from years past. But what sets it apart from its predecessors is its full physics simulation and stunning graphics that make those explosions look even better than ever before.

But when you dig deeper into Space Pirates and Zombies, you realize there’s so much more to this game than just fancy visuals. You can choose between three different factions - The United Civilized States (UCS), The Marauders or The Remnants - each with their own unique abilities and strengths. Your goal then becomes to take over as many solar systems as possible by engaging in battles against enemy fleets while developing your faction's technology in order to become the most powerful group in the galaxy.

The main gameplay consists of controlling ships which have various weapons such as lasers, rockets and missiles at their disposal; through a strategic approach players must use these weapons wisely since they are limited resources that need to be managed properly if success is desired on the battlefield. In addition to ship combat, you also get defend planets from zombie attacks by building defenses or fighting off hordes of zombies directly with your ships' guns!
