Sonic Heroes is an adventure and multiplatform video game in the Sonic The Hedgehog series, developed by Sonic Team and published by SEGA. Join Team Sonic, Team Dark, Team Rose and Team Chaotix for a thrilling adventure across 7 different levels with unique paths!

Each team consists of three characters who have their own unique abilities to utilize during gameplay. Players race teams of series characters through levels to amass rings, defeat robots, and collect the seven Chaos Emeralds needed to defeat Doctor Eggman. Players must use each character's special ability such as running fast like Sonic for speed boosts, flying high like Tails for reaching new heights or grinding on rails with Knuckles' power of strength to progress further in the game. Additionally players can also swing from large hooks using Vector’s grapple move or combine all team members into one giant robot called “Team Blast” to deliver powerful attacks against enemies that stand in their way!

The game was released on Nintendo GameCube, Sony PlayStation 2, Microsoft Xbox and Microsoft Windows PCs platforms upon release where it received mixed reviews from critics but managed to perform commercially well becoming a million-seller making it onto best-selling lists across all its original platforms!
