Sonic Adventure 2 is the sequel to Sonic Adventure, and it was one of the final games released for the Dreamcast console before Sega discontinued it. The game features two new characters that would become major players in subsequent Sonic games: Shadow the Hedgehog and Rouge the Bat. Together with old favorites like Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Doctor Eggman, they make up a story of good vs evil as they battle each other for control of the world.

The levels in this game are divided into three distinct styles of play: fast-paced platforming for characters like Sonic and Shadow; multi-directional shooting for Tails and Eggman; and action-exploration for Knuckles and Rouge. This variety ensures that there’s something to satisfy every type of gamer out there.
