All about game Sled Storm

Sled Storm is a classic snowmobile racing video game series created by Electronic Arts and released in North America on July 31, 1999 and in Europe on August 11, 1999. It was one of the first games of its kind to be released and gained critical acclaim for its unique concept. The two entries in the series are simply titled Sled Storm.

In Sled Storm, players take control of six selectable racers with different attributes that affect their snowmobile's handling capabilities. They then race around fourteen courses featuring slippery slopes, inclement weather conditions and treacherous cliffs while performing stunts along the way to try to gain an edge over their opponents. In addition to the standard single-player mode, there are also options for multiplayer racing both online as well as split screen local play up to four players can compete at once on one console or computer.

The graphics used in this game were impressive for its time due largely to motion capture technology used for animations which made it very realistic looking compared to other titles from that era . The soundtrack was also praised by critics who appreciated the mix of rock music composed specifically for each course which fit perfectly into what many described as "the perfect winter atmosphere".

To this day Sled Storm remains a fan favorite among snowmobile racing fans thanks largely due its original concept combined with great graphics and sound design making it still worth playing even twenty years after release despite some outdated visuals here and there. With two full length releases already under its belt, hopefully we will see more new content from Electronic Arts' beloved franchise soon!
