Dino Crisis 2 is the third-person action-adventure sequel to Capcom's beloved survival horror classic, Dino Crisis. In a departure from its predecessor, Dino Crisis 2 takes on a more shoot 'em up approach with fast-paced and explosive gameplay. Players take control of their hero as they explore the world looking for clues and battling hordes of dinosaurs while trying to make sense of the story unfolding before them.

The game introduces several changes to the basic formula that was seen in Dino Crisis. Movement has been simplified by removing the need for a run button as your character always runs at full speed when you press forward on your controller. The ability to dual wield weapons has also been introduced, granting players access to two guns at once for increased firepower against enemies such as raptors and tyrannosaurus rex. To further aid you in battle are various new types of weapons added into this installment such as grenades, stun rods, rocket launchers and more - each with their own unique uses when it comes down to defeating an enemy or solving puzzles throughout levels.
