The Resident Evil 3 remake is a modern reimagining of the original classic released in 1999. It updates the classic survival horror game for a new generation, revamping both its story and gameplay with an emphasis on action-driven combat. The third person over-the shoulder point of view used in this version makes it more akin to later installments like Resident Evil 4, giving players more control over their characters and allowing them to take part in fast paced gunfights.

Players will be spending most of their time playing as Jill Valentine, however they will occasionally switch control to Carlos Oliveira, giving him much needed screen time as a deuteragonist. While hostile mutants still exist within Racoon City, they are no longer the only enemies you'll face; Nemesis has been added into this version as an advanced artificial intelligence that relentlessly pursues Jill throughout her journey. His presence adds another layer of tension and excitement to the game that wasn't present before; if he catches up with you there's no escape!

As one might expect from a Resident Evil title there are still plenty of puzzles scattered throughout each level which require players to think outside the box in order to progress through certain sections or achieve specific objectives. The environments have also been greatly expanded upon compared with its predecessor; many areas have been completely redesigned from scratch while others have had minor changes made such as adding alternate pathways or secret rooms containing helpful items or weapons upgrades.

Overall this remake does justice to the original by incorporating all these new features without taking away any of what made it so beloved back then - intense action coupled with suspenseful atmosphere filled exploration sections make Resident Evil 3 an essential experience for anyone looking for some classic horror gaming fun!
