All about game Dead Island
Dead Island is an action role-playing survival horror video game developed by the Polish developer Techland. It takes place on a fictional island called Banoi, and it offers players the challenge of surviving a zombie-infested open world environment with a major emphasis on melee combat. Players can choose from four different characters, each with their own special skills and skill trees. The world is partially open, allowing players to explore at will but still requiring them to complete certain objectives in order to progress further into the game.
The main mechanics of Dead Island focus heavily on melee combat as well as crafting weapons and weapon mods. As you progress through the game, you earn XP which helps level up your character and gain skill points that unlock new abilities for your character’s chosen class type. Zombies come in various forms throughout the course of the game - some slow while others are much more aggressive - so being able to craft powerful weapons becomes essential if you want any chance at survival!
Dead Island has seen several expansions over its life span since its initial release back in 2011: Riptide (2013) was released as a direct sequel; Escape Dead Island (2014) was released as an episodic spinoff; and finally Dead Island 2 (2016), also announced as another sequel set for 2016 release date yet not confirmed until today.. All these releases have kept fans engaged with this popular franchise ever since its inception five years ago!
