In Redeemer: Enhanced Edition, players take on the role of Vasily, a former elite operative for one of the world's biggest arms industry corporations. Tasked with infiltrating, assassinating and even torturing others for his employers, Vasily eventually manages to escape their grasp and finds himself secluded in a monastery deep in the snowy mountains.

For 20 years he tries to find peace among his fellow monks but still cannot shake the memories of his murderous past. Now that his old corporation is closing-in once again on him they have given him one last chance at redemption through this video game. Players must fight their way through hordes of enemies as they attempt to gain some measure of justice while also trying to reclaim some semblance of inner peace from within themselves. Redeemer: Enhanced Edition features intense hand-to-hand combat using fists and various melee weapons like swords and hammers. The game also includes an arsenal full of guns including pistols, shotguns and assault rifles which can be used against your foes or even environmental objects such as exploding barrels which require careful timing if you want to make it out alive!
