Serious Sam is an action-packed first person shooter video game series that has been around since the early 2000s. The latest installment in the franchise, Serious Sam: Double D XXL, brings together Serious Sam: The First Encounter and Serious Sam: The Second Encounter into one cohesive game for Xbox players. This upgraded version of the classic titles offers a visually-enhanced experience with a newly designed menu system and main character model that are far more cartoonish than before. Additionally, there are also expanded story cutscenes to provide even more immersive gameplay.

The core gameplay of Serious Sam remains unchanged - you control your character as they traverse various levels while shooting down hordes of enemy aliens. There's a wide selection of weapons available to choose from including shotguns, rocket launchers and miniguns which can all be used to take out enemies quickly and efficiently.
