Red Steel is a crime-themed shooter video game for the Nintendo Wii, developed and published by Ubisoft. It was released in November 2006. The game follows American protagonist Scott Monroe as he battles members of Japan's Yakuza clans to rescue his fianceé from their clutches.

In Red Steel, players take control of Scott and fight off enemies with both guns and swords. To simulate the experience of wielding a sword, players use the Wiimote controller to swing their weapons around; they also use it to aim gun-based weapons almost like they would with an actual gun.
