Pirates of the Burning Sea is an MMORPG set in the Caribbean during the 1720s. Players join one of four factions - English, French, Spanish or Pirate - and make their way across the Carribean through missions and battles to control ports.

This game combines swashbuckling action on land and at sea with strategic naval combat for a truly thrilling experience. On land, players can engage in sword fights using their rapier or musket while engaging in hand-to-hand combat on board ships when engaged in naval battles.

The game's naval warfare system allows for tactical maneuvering between ship types such as galleons, brigs and schooners to gain an advantage over opponents. Players will also have access to various weapons including cannons, mortars and grapeshot that can be used to sink enemy vessels. Additionally, there are numerous customization options available for your ship including sails, masts and even figureheads!
