PaRappa the Rapper 2 is a classic rhythm game for the PlayStation 2 which brings back everyone's favorite rapping puppy in all new levels and songs. The original PaRappa launched on the Playstation 1 in 1997, quickly becoming an iconic cult-classic with its unique art style and memorable soundtrack. Now, two decades later, Parappa is back in house to show that he still has what it takes to keep you grooving!

The gameplay of PaRappa the Rapper 2 remains similar to its predecessor; players control Parappa as he navigates through various levels while attempting to match his moves with those of his opponents. Players must time their button presses correctly in order to score points and progress through each level. However, this sequel adds several new features including more complex rhythms and some additional mini-games where players can earn extra points by competing against other characters.

Like its predecessor, PaRappa the Rapper 2 features an eclectic mix of hip hop and funk music composed by Masaya Matsuura (of NanaOn-Sha fame).
