Overwhelm is a unique action horror-world platformer in which enemies become increasingly more powerful as the game progresses, while the player does not. Players must explore the oppressive caverns of an evil hive on their own, with enemies appearing unpredictably from any direction. Combat is fast and intense - one hit can mean death for your character, and three deaths will end your run. Defeating bosses grants them powers that are dispersed among other enemies throughout the world, making it even more difficult to survive. The order in which bosses are defeated can be optimized for a better playthrough experience.
