Overlord: Dark Legend is an action adventure game designed and developed exclusively for the Wii console. The game takes place before the events of the original Overlord game, where players take control of a new young Overlord as they protect their castle and lands from fairy tale inhabitants. Players are able to use the Wii Remote to direct individual Minions by picking them up and then shaking the remote to imbue them with power that can be used against enemies. The tongue-in-cheek story is written by award-winning games author Rhianna Pratchett which features Halflings, trolls, elves, dwarves, witches, gingerbread men and Lil' Red Riding Hood.

All about game Overlord: Dark Legend
Overlord: Dark Legend is the prequel to the 2007 video game, Overlord. It offers a different gaming style, taking advantage of the Wii controller and providing some new content that was not included in its predecessor or sequel. Although reviews are mixed on this title due to lack of complexity and difficulty for experienced gamers, it still has some redeeming qualities that may appeal to players who enjoy humorous stories set in a fantasy world.
The gameplay of Dark Legend differs from Overlord by using the Wii remote’s motion-sensing capabilities as well as an intuitive control system which allows players to command their minions with ease. The story follows your character (the Overlord) attempting to restore balance in his kingdom after it has been corrupted by an evil force known as “The Nameless One”. Players will face off against enemies such as giant spiders and trolls while also solving puzzles throughout their journey.
What makes this game stand out is its humour; witty dialogue between characters keeps things lighthearted despite darker themes explored within the story itself. The graphics are detailed enough to provide a visually pleasing experience but they don't quite hit the mark when compared with other titles released at around the same time period such as Super Smash Bros Brawl or Mario Kart Wii. Additionally, critics have noted that there isn't much replay value since levels can be completed quickly without much challenge posed by enemy AI nor any significant changes between playthroughs - making it more suitable for younger audiences looking for short bursts of entertainment rather than those wanting something meatier and longer lasting experiences out of their games library selection .
In summary, Overlord: Dark Legend provides a unique spin on classic dungeon crawling RPG's with its use of motion controls combined with humourous narrative elements; however if you're looking for something deep or challenging then you might find yourself disappointed here given its overall lack of complexity or difficulty level design wise .
