NUTS is a single-player surveillance mystery video game set in the mysterious Melmoth Forest. Players take on the role of NUTS, an AI unit tasked with surveying the forest and gathering data on its inhabitants - namely, squirrels. Players must use their recording equipment to document evidence of what's going on in the forest and report their findings back to headquarters. As they progress through the game, players will slowly uncover clues that reveal a deeper story hidden within Melmoth Forest. With every clue uncovered comes more questions as players attempt to unravel this strange tale and ultimately discover what really lies beneath the surface of this dark woodland sanctuary.

During daytime hours, gamers can place cameras at strategic points around their hideout and adjust settings like zoom levels and motion sensitivity before nightfall comes. Once darkness falls, they must monitor all three TV screens carefully as they look for any clues that may help them solve this puzzle.
