Players also have access to various customization options such as skins and costumes for their characters.

The game also features an innovative "Save The Multiverse" mechanic which rewards players for completing objectives within each level by giving them bonuses such as money or XP points. This encourages cooperative play between two teams of four players who must work together in order to save the multiverse from destruction at the hands of an evil villainous organization known as The Legion Of Doom.

MultiVersus also includes leaderboards where players can compete against each other both locally and globally in order to prove who’s the best fighter out there!
