In Monark, you are tasked with saving your friends from the mysterious and deadly Mist that has surrounded Shin Mikado Academy. You enter the Otherworld, a dimension filled with Daemons, to harness your Authority of Vanity and conjure Fiends. As you progress through various psychological tests to strengthen your Ego and Fiends, you must take on seven Pactbearers corrupting the academy. Through this journey, you must embrace the power of madness in order to gain strength without losing yourself. Fellow students and instructors will offer their aid throughout your quest as you attempt to resolve all anomalies within the campus.

All about game Monark

Monark is an upcoming "new school RPG" from former Megami Tensei and Shin Megami Tensei staff. The game will be released on October 14th in Japan, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch.

The story follows the True Student Council which was established to solve abnormal situations within a school. The protagonist becomes the deputy head of this council and chooses one of four buddies to fight against unreasonable conditions. There are multiple endings depending on the route chosen as well as an ability to skip shared routes while playing through different buddy routes for easier replayability.

Gameplay features command-based battles with free move turn system where increasing madness levels allows players to use more powerful skills but also goes so far that they can go insane and attack targets both friendly or hostile, making it impossible to fight back in some cases. A unique "EGO" system is featured where six desires (pride, wrath, envy, lust gluttony and sloth) affect diagnosis which then influences the choice of demons employed as underlings by player characters during battle sequences .

Overall Monark looks like a promising title combining familiar elements from classic RPGs with fresh mechanics based around character development via mental status altering systems that allow players choices beyond simple stats manipulation when creating their avatar's personality traits - definitely something worth keeping an eye out for this fall!
