All about game Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds
Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is a crossover fighting game developed by Capcom in collaboration with Eighting and released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in February 2011. It was the fifth installment of the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise and the first to use three-dimensional character models instead of sprites. The game features characters from both Capcom’s video game franchises and comic book series published by Marvel Comics, as well as new methods of play designed to make it more accessible for newcomers.
Players select a team of three characters to engage in combat against their opponents using tag team mechanics similar to those featured in earlier games, such has Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars which uses a simplified three-button attack system produced by Ryota Niitsuma who had previously worked on that title.
The reception for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was generally positive with critics praising its gameplay and character roster while criticizing its online component and lack of features or modes available at launch; however these issues were addressed later when an updated version titled Ultimate Marvel vs.Capcom 3 was released less than one year after initial release featuring additional characters, stages and tweaks which helped boost sales even further resulting in over two million units shipped worldwide just one month after debut making it commercially successful as well
