Luminous Arc is a video game set in a world where one thousand years ago, God and the Witches warred against each other for control. After God won, He went into a deep sleep to recover from His wounds. Ten years later, news comes that God will be reborn and the world will enter into a golden age under His guidance; however, this prophecy also warns of the return of the Witches. Players take control of Garden Children who are trained fighters and mages dedicated to eradicating the Witch threat as they discover its mysteries.
