All about game Lost Cities

Lost Cities is an exciting card game that was once available for the Xbox 360, published by Sierra Online. Based on the popular card game of the same name created by Reiner Knizia, Lost Cities offers a thrilling and intense experience for two players with its simple yet deep ruleset.

Players take turns playing cards to create expeditions in five different colors, each associated with their own difficulty level in acquiring points. The more difficult color expeditions require higher-value cards to increase their value as they are played on top of them. Players can also play "investment" cards to double or triple their score at any time during a round. As you progress through your expeditions, you must remember not only which color expedition has been started but also what values have already been played - as this will help determine which strategy works best for maximizing your score!

Unfortunately, in early 2009 Lost Cities was removed from the Xbox Live Marketplace without any official explanation being given about why it had disappeared from digital shelves. Speculation centered around copyright issues arising from Activision's merger with Vivendi (the parent company of Sierra). This meant that those who were looking forward to experiencing the thrills and intensity of this classic card game would be left disappointed due to its sudden disappearance from digital stores worldwide.

Despite its premature removal from online marketplaces, however, Lost Cities remains one of Reiner Knizia's most successful games ever released – providing countless hours of entertainment and strategic thinking for generations past and present alike! With so much potential still hidden beneath its layers though – it's a shame that we may never get to truly explore all that Lost Cities could offer us if it were still available today…
