Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier is an action-adventure video game developed by High Impact Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. This installment in the Jak & Daxter series was released for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation 3 platforms in November 2009. In this game, players take on the roles of Jak and Keira as they travel to a distant land known as 'The Brink' in search of ancient Precursor machinery that could reverse their planet's decline.

Players will explore beautiful environments filled with treacherous enemies while using a variety of innovative weapons and vehicles to traverse these lands. Additionally, Jak must learn to control his own Eco powers – special abilities granted by his connection to Eco – if he hopes to succeed on this quest. But powerful Sky Pirates are also searching for the same technology; it’s up to Jak and Keira to outwit them before it’s too late!

Gameplay focuses heavily on combat sequences between enemies such as Krimzon Guard robots, Lurkers or other adversaries including various bosses with unique attack patterns. Throughout all levels players must collect colored Eco crystals which allow access through certain doors or activate mechanisms necessary for progress within each mission. As well as fighting foes, players can engage in mini-games such as hoverboard racing against AI opponents or sky diving challenges across vast open spaces full of obstacles like wind tunnels that require precise steering from the player if they want any chance at victory!
