The main story follows a young prince named Michael who sets out on a quest to locate his father's missing magical staff - The Dragon Bone Staff - which was stolen from him by an evil wizard known only as 'The Shadow'. In order to retrieve it, he must travel through seven regions of his world that have been invaded by monsters commanded by The Shadow. On his journey he will encounter allies and enemies alike as well as powerful artifacts that can help him succeed in his mission or hinder him if used incorrectly.
