The game focuses mainly on exploration and relationship building between the two main characters- your protagonists Yu and Kay. As you explore their new home, you'll be able to customize it with various items that will help them create their own unique paradise away from home. There are also plenty of activities for players to engage in such as fishing, gathering resources, cooking meals, upgrading weapons & equipment and engaging in battles against monster-like creatures called 'corrupted'.

At its core however Haven is about maintaining and growing the relationship between Yu and Kay throughout the journey - something which can be done both via dialogue choices during conversations or by simply spending time together doing activities around their newfound haven world. In addition to this there are also minigames built into some of these activities which allow players to interact even further with one another beyond just talking – perfect for those looking for a co-op experience with a special someone!
