In Fuse, the player takes on the role of Overstrike 9, an elite contact team sent by the CIA to retrieve a powerful alien energy source known as FUSE. Players join together with up to 3 friends in team-based co-op play and must take down a rogue paramilitary corporation behind its theft. To do this, they have access to fringe-tech weapons and gadgets that can be used for devastating attacks and providing cover for one another. The unique LEAP feature allows players to instantly shift from agent to agent during combat so they can use each one's special arsenal. Fuse, from Insomniac Games, is a thrilling and action-packed 4 person co-op game that takes place in the near future. Players take on the roles of four elite agents – an ex-mercenary, Interpol's most wanted thief, a gifted young scientist and a decorated detective – who have been brought together to form Overstrike 9. This ragtag group of outcasts are humanity’s last hope against a sinister organization threatening to wipe out humankind.

Players will explore enemy strongholds while using fringe tech gadgets and lethal teamwork to obliterate threats with extreme prejudice. Fuse features exotic weaponry unique to each character as well as intense single player or cooperative gameplay for up to four players online or two offline split screen modes. Additionally, gamers can customize their characters' weapons with special upgrades such as "Meltdown" which causes enemies caught in its blast radius to be reduced into molten metal.
