The classic horror movie “Friday the 13th” has been a staple in pop culture for decades. Now fans of the franchise can experience it like never before with Friday the 13th: The Game, an intense third-person survival horror game released by Gun Media and Illfonic. Players take on either the role of a teen counselor trying to survive or as Jason Voorhees himself, hunting down their victims one by one.

In this multiplayer game up to seven players face off against each other in a battle for survival. For those playing as counselors they must fight against time and find ways to escape while being pursued relentlessly by Jason Voorhees who is determined to brutally slaughter them all. Counselors have access to items such as bear traps and flashlights that can be used defensively against their pursuer but these will only slow him down temporarily since he has supernatural abilities that make it difficult if not impossible for anyone to outrun him.

Counselors are also able to rely on teamwork and cooperation with each other in order to succeed which makes communication essential when trying evade capture from Jason's maniacal grasp. Working together gives counselors more options when it comes escaping alive but even then there is no guarantee since everyone is still at risk at all times due to Jason's unpredictable nature and strength compared any normal human being might possess.

For those daring enough choose play as Jason themselves they will have access powers such as teleporting, superhuman speed and strength allowing them stalk their prey mercilessly until every last soul remains dead or escapes alive from his terror filled grip!
