Far Cry New Dawn is an open world first-person shooter video game set seventeen years after a nuclear doomsday in Hope County, Montana. The county has been changed by the nuclear winter and now features a lush, colourful landscape populated with makeshift buildings. Players must fight against the nihilistic Highwaymen who are intent on bleeding the county dry. Players will be able to construct powerful weapons and vehicles from broken remnants of the old world to use in combat, as well as recruit Guns and Fangs for Hire from an eclectic cast to have someone watching their back. Far Cry New Dawn can be played alone or together with a friend in co-op mode.

Far Cry New Dawn is the latest installment in Ubisoft's popular Far Cry series, and it takes place in a transformed post-apocalyptic Hope County, Montana seventeen years after a nuclear catastrophe. Players are thrust into a vibrant world filled with danger and adventure as they fight to survive and take on the Highwaymen, who have come to take over what little resources remain.

The game features an expansive open-world environment that has been completely reshaped by the effects of the nuclear blast. The land has been transformed from lush forests into barren wastelands covered in mutated flora and fauna. This makes for dangerous exploration as players must be prepared for any number of surprises lurking around every corner.

Players will also find themselves facing off against enemy forces such as cultists known as "the Highwaymen" throughout their journey through Hope County. These enemies range from brutal thugs armed with makeshift weapons to highly trained soldiers equipped with advanced technology scavenged from before the apocalypse hit. Players must use all available means at their disposal if they hope to survive these encounters unscathed including vehicles, weapons both modern and primitive, explosives, traps and more!
