Exit the Gungeon is the latest bullet hell dungeon-crawler to hit the gaming scene. Developed by Dodge Roll and published by Devolver Digital, it's a direct sequel to Enter The Gungeon, one of 2016's most popular indie games. In Exit The Gungeon, players take control of one of several "Gungeoneers" as they attempt to ascend and escape an ever-collapsing gungeon filled with relentless enemies and bosses.

Gameplay in Exit The Gungeon is similar to that of its predecessor: frantic shooting action combined with precise platforming elements as players dodge projectiles while picking up items along their journey for personal absolution. Players must battle against increasingly difficult foes using an ever-changing arsenal of weapons – from standard firearms such as pistols and shotguns to unique weapons like a vinyl record launcher or a living umbrella creature – complemented by special items that can provide temporary invulnerability or even more powerful attacks. Masterful use of the dodge roll mechanic will be essential for survival.
