Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten is a tactical role-playing game and the fourth in the Disgaea series by Nippon Ichi Software. The game tells the story of Valvatorez, a former tyrant leading a party to rebel against the president of the Netherworld. Disgaea 4 follows this unique cast as they battle their way through numerous levels and dungeons filled with enemies, bosses, and puzzles.

The gameplay is similar to previous entries in the series - players control up to 10 characters on an isometric grid-based battlefield where they can use various attacks or spells to defeat enemies while trying to stay alive themselves. The turn-based combat system allows for strategic planning before each round of combat and there are also several features that help customize your experience such as item creation, character customization, weapon upgrades etc.

In addition to its great tactical RPG elements, Disgaea 4 also offers plenty of humor and quirky characters which adds another layer of fun into its already enjoyable formula.
