Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days is a tactical role-playing game that takes place in the world of Veldime. In this fantasy universe, humans were peaceful until Overlord Zenon cursed the land and all who resided within it. The curse transformed them into monsters and caused chaos across the land.

Players take on the role of Adell, one of the last remaining humans in Veldime, whose goal is to defeat Overlord Zenon's tyranny and restore peace and harmony to his homeland. To do this, he must embark on an epic quest through the Netherworld in search for Zenon.

The battles that take place throughout Disgaea 2 are fought on 3D grid-based fields where players have to tactically move their characters around while attacking enemies with various special skills or magical spells. Players can also create allies by combining existing monsters they've defeated or buy new ones from shops located around Veldime as well as customize them with items found along their journey.

In addition to its engaging gameplay mechanics which include strategy elements such as creating custom squads of allies or teaming up with other players online via ad-hoc wireless networking mode, Disgaea 2 also features a captivating story filled with humor and quirky characters that will keep you entertained for hours upon hours!
