Players will explore a vast, open world sandbox filled with all new zombies and a million ways to take them down.

Dead Rising 4 takes place 16 years after the events of Dead Rising 1, which saw protagonist Frank West investigate an outbreak at a shopping mall in Willamette. This time around however, Frank finds himself right back where it all started. The player must help him survive hordes of hungry undead while also uncovering what caused this terrible outbreak.

Players can expect plenty of new weapons and vehicles to help them fight off these relentless creatures. From chainsaws to martial arts moves – there’s no shortage of ways for players to take on their foes! Additionally, they will have access to hundreds of crafting options enabling them create even more powerful tools or gadgets from different combinations such as firework launchers or electric swords.

The game also introduces a new type foe called ‘Maniacs’ who are humans infected by zombie virus but retain their human intelligence - making them much more difficult opponents than regular zombies! Players will need wits as well as brawn if they hope to survive against these cunning adversaries.
