In Blades of Time players take control of Ayumi as she explores this strange environment while completing various quests and fighting off hordes enemies using her skills with guns and swords. The game's combat system makes use of combos as well as special attacks which become even more powerful when players make use of Ayumi’s unique ability – Rewind Time. With this skill Ayumi can rewind certain actions allowing her to dodge enemy attacks or simply repeat successful strategies against tougher enemies.
