It tells the story of a high school girl named Saki, who finds herself trapped in an afterlife filled with dead souls known as “The Void”. She's sent there after a mysterious accident that left her with no memory of her past life.

In The Void, Saki meets two factions: the Good Apples and the Bad Apples. As their names suggest, they are opposed to each other; while the Good Apples strive for peace and harmony amongst all living things, the Bad Apples seek chaos and destruction. Both sides have been locked in an endless cycle of death and rebirth for centuries – until now.

Saki soon discovers that she has been given a special power by someone from outside The Void: The Power to Change Fate!
