AereA is an action role-playing video game with a music theme. Players take on the role of one of Great Maestro Guido's disciples, tasked with exploring Aezir - a floating island that has been broken into pieces. The mission is to find and restore the nine primordial instruments in order to bring balance and peace back to the world. Along their journey, players must complete quests, solve puzzles, defeat bosses and uncover the truth behind Aezir's islands. Up to four players can team up together in local co-op mode as Wolff the Harp-Archer, Jacques the Cello-Knight, Jules the Lute-Mage or Claude the Trumpet Gunner where they can collect Music Sheets for new skills and customize weapons according to their play style.

AereA is a music-themed Action RPG set in the world of Aezir, an archipelago of floating islands that was shattered by a great cataclysm. Players take on the role of one of Great Maestro Guido’s disciples and must find their way through all parts of the scattered islands to restore balance to the world.

Gameplay consists of exploring different areas, completing quests, solving puzzles, defeating bosses and collecting nine primordial instruments. Combat involves using various weapons such as bows and arrows for ranged attacks or swords for close combat. Players can also customize their weapons with special abilities like fire and lightning magic depending on which character they select from a roster consisting of Wolff the Harp-Archer, Jacques the Cello-Knight, Jules the Lute-Mage or Claude the Trumpet Gunner. Additionally up to four players can team up in local coop mode to take down enemies together.

Aside from fighting monsters, players will be able to collect Music Sheets that allow them learn new skills such as healing spells or powerful battle techniques. With these abilities they'll be able to defeat even more difficult foes and progress further into their quest for peace within Aezir's broken world.
