Act of War: High Treason is an expansion pack for the game Act of War: Direct Action. It follows Major Jason Richter and his Task Force Talon as they try to prevent a plot to cripple the United States on the eve of its presidential election. The main antagonist is the shadowy organization known as The Consortium, which has connections back to Direct Action. Players get to take part in battles across multiple theaters from New York and Manhattan to Cuba, Mexico, Florida and more while also experiencing modern naval combat with ultra-realistic visuals.
