System Shock 2 is a first-person shooter video game that features both traditional elements found in shooters as well as unique elements that make it stand out. Players will find several gameplay elements such as logs, inventory, skills, persistent world, leaning, hacking and RPG-style character development. There are multiple weapons and enemies to fight against while the plot is always present but not so confining like most other shooters - there's usually more than one task to accomplish.
