Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is an adventure game set on the island of Jabberwock, which was once a popular tourist destination but now remains strangely untouched. In the game, you and your classmates from Hope's Peak Academy have been taken to the island by their teacher for a school trip. However, things take a sinister turn when Monokuma returns to restart his murderous game. Your only hope of escape is solving the mysteries of the island - however, sometimes discovering the truth can be even more despairing than being trapped there in the first place.
