Verdun is a multiplayer first-person shooter video game based on the western front of World War I. It draws inspiration from the Battle of Verdun in 1916, one of the bloodiest battles in history. The game offers four different game modes: Frontlines, Attrition, Rifle Deathmatch and Squad Defense. Players can choose from realistic WW1 weaponry and authentic uniforms to engage in battle with gruesome gore effects on maps straight out of France and Belgium's real battlefields.
