Trine 2 is the sequel to the 2009 downloadable PlayStation 3 and PC action platformer. It is a fantasy-themed side-scrolling puzzle platformer video game where players take control of three characters; Amadeus the Wizard, Pontius the Knight, and Zoya the Thief. Each character has unique abilities which they must use in order to progress through each level. The game features beautiful graphics that are enhanced by its physics engine, providing a more immersive experience for players. The player can switch between characters at any time to solve puzzles or defeat enemies. Trine 2 also offers online multiplayer modes allowing up to three players simultaneously cooperatively play through levels together as well as competitively battle one another in arenas.
