In Thief, the player takes on the role of Garrett, an expert Master Thief who has been living in the shadows of a dark and oppressive city. With his skills as a thief, he is able to outwit even the most guarded citizens and steal their possessions. As a revolution begins to take shape against the tyrannical Baron's rule, Garrett is pulled into larger layers of conflict. He joins forces with Orion, who leads the people in their fight for freedom and justice from oppression. If Garrett doesn't get involved, blood will flow through the streets as civil war rages on between those loyal to Baron's rule and those fighting for change.
