The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition is an Xbox Live Arcade game that brings the classic pirate adventure game from LucasArts into HD detail. It features a contemporary art style, complete voice over by members of the original cast, a re-mastered musical score using live instruments, and scene-for-scene hot swap to seamlessly transition between Special Edition and Classic modes at any time. Players take on the role of wannabe pirate Guybrush Threepwood as they attempt to become the most infamous pirate in the Caribbean, win Elaine Marley's heart, and confront evil ghost pirate LeChuck.
