The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is a single-player RPG set in the fantasy world of Tamriel. Players take on the role of a hero tasked with finding the lost heir to an empty throne, whose death has allowed demons to invade Cyrodiil and threaten all of Tamriel. In true Elder Scrolls tradition, players have freedom to explore and progress at their own pace; they can join factions such as the thieves or mages guilds, each with its own complete storyline. The game features groundbreaking AI technology which allows NPCs to make realistic choices based on their individual characteristics.
