The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV is set shortly after the events of the previous game, with the Erebonian Empire on the brink of all-out war. Class VII's instructor, Rean Schwarzer, has gone missing and it is up to his students—both old and new—to unite heroes from across the continent to create a final chance at preventing total destruction. The stakes are high as they must face off against the full force of the Empire in order to save their world.
