Super Mario 64 DS is a Nintendo DS remake of the classic genre-defining game, Super Mario 64. This version introduces new features that take full advantage of the dual screens and touch screen on the portable console as well as wireless multiplayer capability. Players can choose from four characters - Mario, Yoshi, Luigi and Wario - each with their own unique abilities to find 150 Power Stars hidden in the castle and grounds. Adventure mode offers plenty of mini-games that use stylus control while Wireless Versus mode allows up to three friends to battle each other with only one game card. Each character has multiple jumping moves along with special powers like invisibility or fire breath when they collect a Power Flower.
