The objective of the game is to stop marbles from rolling down a track toward you by launching new ones with your stylus, making matches of three or more like-colored marbles which cause them to vanish. Power-ups, multiple tracks and multiplayer mode add depth to this puzzle/action title. Magnetica's ultrarealistic magnetic physics makes launched marbles curve toward like-colored balls while single player modes such as Challenge, Quest and Puzzle provide diverse gameplay experiences. In addition, there are numerous power-ups and hazards that keep players on their toes. Multiplayer battles include Ion Clouds (smoke screens), Recoils (which block marbles), Black Holes (which suck up launched marbles), Viruses (which deflect marbles) and Gravitons (which alter the path of launched marbles). There are also switches, tracks overlaying each other, moving barriers and other twists included in Magnetica to provide endless hours of playtime enjoyment.
